Why Vote In Watertown Elections On November 3?

Your vote matters. Your vote determines the character and quality of your community.

When you vote on November 3, you elect Town councilors who influence

  • how our town remains livable for children and seniors
  • the quality and quantity of open space
  • energy efficiency and recycling
  • the safety of our roads and sidewalks
  • the excellence of our schools

These details determine the character of our community.
They are debated and decided by your local government --
the Town Council. When you vote local, you decide too.

 Registering to Vote

  • you can register when you renew your drivers license or at town hall
  • last date to register is October 14th
  • if you go into town hall you do not need to show any ID

 Absentee Ballots

  • last day to get one is the Monday before the election
  • a parent can fill one out for a child if they are away at college but they must make sure to get the correct address of the school. The town will be mailing those ballots out to the schools on September 18th
